CHICAGO (CBS) — More than 50 people were ticketed at a Fight for $15 protest Tuesday morning in the West Town neighborhood.
The protest began about 6:30 a.m. at the McDonald’s restaurant at Damen and Chicago.
As of 9:45 a.m., 55 people had been issued tickets, according to Chicago Police. It was unclear exactly what the citations were for.
The protests are expected to continue Tuesday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and O’Hare International Airport.
