(CBS) The White Sox on Friday made a couple more roster moves ahead of their season opener Monday.
Chicago outrighted left-hander Giovanni Soto and outfielder Rymer Liriano to Triple-A Charlotte after each cleared waivers, according to reports.
Soto made just two appearances in Cactus Leauge play, allowing one run in 2 1/3 innings. Liriano hit .170 with two homers, six RBIs and a .605 OPS in 22 games.
