Construction Debris Falls From Michigan Avenue Building

CHICAGO (CBS) – Chicago Police say construction debris is falling from a building on Michigan Avenue.

Officers say Michigan Avenue is closed to pedestrians and vehicles between Randolph and Lake Street.

The Chicago Police Department says a man was struck by a cable that fell from the building.

He was transported to Northwestern in stable condition.

Michigan Avenue was closed between Lake and Randoph after part of a scaffolding fell from a nearby building. Nobody was hurt, authorities said. (CBS)
