CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot to death early Saturday in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
At 12:04 a.m., the 25-year-old man was sitting in a vehicle in the 1200 block of West 79th Street, when someone walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
He was hit in the chest and abdomen, and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released his name.
