CHICAGO (CBS) — A family owned dress shop in Elmhurst was heavily damaged in a fire on Thursday.
The two-alarm blaze consumed VIP Occasions, 351 York Road.
Several trucks and water lines were deployed to keep the fire contained along the commercial stretch in the Western suburb.
According to its Facebook page, VIP Occasions was founded by two sisters in 1991 and sells wedding and prom dresses.
