(CBS) Following a dismal 3-13, the Bears encounter another key event in their quest to rebuild with this weekend’s NFL Draft.
Chicago is looking to restock a roster in need of more playmaker and depth. After being held in Chicago for two years, the draft has moved to Philadelphia, and it starts Thursday at 7 p.m. CT with the Browns going on the clock at No. 1 overall. The Bears hold the No. 3 pick.

On Thursday, the quintet of Jeff Joniak, Tom Thayer, Patrick Mannelly, Dan Pompei and Hub Arkush will host a live draft show from 6-10 p.m. breaking down all the first-round selections. Following them, Julie DiCaro and Greg Gabriel will do the same from 10 p.m. to midnight.
On Friday, 670 The Score will carry the Cubs-Red Sox game in the evening.
On Saturday, Steve Rosenbloom and David Schuster will be on from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. After that, Arkush will host solo from 1-2:30 p.m. Cubs pregame then starts at 2:30, with a 3:05 first pitch. Following the conclusion of the Cubs game and then postgame, DiCaro and Gabriel will be on until 10 p.m. reacting to the NFL Draft.

The draft is being held at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
Round 1: Thursday, 7 p.m. (ESPN, NFL Network)
Rounds 2-3: Friday, 6 p.m. (ESPN, NFL Network)
Rounds 4-7: Saturday, 11 a.m. (ESPN, NFL Network)
Note: Teams have 10 minutes to make picks in the first round, seven minutes to make picks in the second round and five minutes to make picks in rounds three through six. Seventh-round and compensatory picks will have four minutes to be selected.
