(CBS) – Schaumburg police were investigating a shooting that occurred in a drug store parking lot Monday.
Police responded to reports of a shooting around 5:20 p.m. at 1180 S. Roselle Road, outside a Walgreens.
A man in his 30s or 40s had a gunshot wound to his chest, police said. He was transported to Lutheran General Hospital.
Police were still on the scene this evening.
